What a week. Finally, the current heatwave is all over Austria. It is hot. This weekend should be the peek of the heatwave.
We had our company summer party on Friday. The party was outside the whole night. And it was hot. The whole night.
I wasn't very happy about how pretentious the party was. A lot of people got fired during the last year, and departments need to cut costs.
Yes, you could argue that a cheaper party wouldn't save a single job, but the impression you get is not a good one.
At work, we prepared our talk for next week's conference. We will see how that will go. There is still much to do till Thursday.
