The team behind the Race Across America announced that the race will pause in 2027. I am very curious to see what will happen in 2028. Will the race resume or was the 2026 edition the last one?
Tadej Pogačar had an accident at the Vuelta a España and could not continue the race. He already won a couple of stages and was a couple of minutes ahead of his rivals. One moment changed everything. It is a though year, when two of the best riders in the world couldn't finish a Grand Tour because of accidents.
